The family of a child who suffered critical harm after getting pushed from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern have announced their "little knight" has reached his target of succeeding to swim, run, and jump again.

The young child was six when he was thrown from a ledge by a teenager, at that time seventeen.

The boy, who was vacationing with the parents in 2019 when assaulted, lived through a 100ft fall but received significant wounds, like a cranial bleeding and broken bones.

Relatives stated in an update on a crowdfunding page, they were pleased that he had been able to advance with his jumping, swimming and running before his forthcoming operation.

"He can't perform similar to kids at his age, certainly, but we are unable to explain his actions in any other way than by saying it's running, jumping, and swimming."

"It's different, only over a short distance or a minimal elevation, but it's an remarkable accomplishment."

He, who passed a long time in intensive care, has continued to develop mental stamina.

Parents explained although his recall abilities were yet quite restricted, they were functional and improving, so he was "acquiring a common awareness at his speed, which increasingly allows him to be integrated with kids."

'Objective Met'

They added: "He's also growing up, and because of his therapy with the physical therapist, he presently allows himself to rest."

"Previously, to make up for his limitation on the left side, he held his right part constantly tense, which resulted in suffering."

"Today, our growing child (we have to accept reality, he's not a little boy anymore) has comprehended that he has to take rests; we have to remind him less often."

He has also accomplished a long-held goal with dad: "As we dwell a few kilometres from the beach, they had set their end target of having a picnic at the shore and then returning."

"Following a number of gradual training sessions, they finally completed their two-and-a-half-hour journey. They arrived home weary but overjoyed. Mission accomplished."

Following a trial at the Old Bailey, the youth was found guilty of murder attempt and was jailed in two thousand twenty for no less than a decade and a half.
